Its lonely at the top..

Me just think that the popularity one has in office is inversely related to the person's ranking in the organisational hierarchy. If the person is at the lowest level his popularity is on the higher side. As he moves up the ladder, his popularity dips, instead unpopularity takes over. Its always the case. People higher up in the organisation have fewer friends to talk to or go to lunch with.

This observation is based on few examples seen by me. Comments welcome.
