289 things about me!!

Me think, I aimed for the stars and just reached the top of a hill. But thats ok from my perspective. Me have tried to list down all possible things about myself. Badly fell short of the 1000 mark which me had thought of.
All the things listed below are from my perspective. Anyone of you, if you think that there is something more to add or edit, please add your comments, they are welcome.


Well here I go with 289 things abt myself (they are in random order)

1. I wanna to go to the Himalayas atleast in the next 5 years
2. I wanna to buy a Honda Civic Car in the next 3 years, though off late I have started to dislike its shape!
3. I need a person/partner who can listen to me and advise me. With whom I could share and talk abt everything under the sun
4. I have been a patient listener to many friends. Pretty gave them a shoulder to cry on and talk their hearts out
5. I wanna go gliding and parasailing
6. I like home made food and that too prepared by mom
7. I have a good set of friends and each one is a specimen in his own right
8. I don’t have any girlfriends (in that sense) ;-)
9. I like to work with Eskel sheets (MS-Excel)
10. I like silence in comparison to speech
11. I have tried to act in plays in school and failed miserably
12. I wanna one day become a radio jockey
13. I have conducted quizes at a few colleges
14. I am committed to social service from the past 6 years
15. I like ice-creams
16. I like to eat all sorts of vegetables except BEETROOT! Somehow don’t like it since childhood
17. I like to eat chapatis with Kisan mixed fruit jam! Yummy!
18. I am good, bad and ugly. In the sense that - I am a good person, with a few bad habits and I look pretty ugly from the outside
19. I think I have a lot of patience from the past few years. My level of patience has indeed increased when compared to the past
20. I lke Sony Ericsson phones when compared to other manufacturers
21. I like to read other's blogs and I really get carried away into their world and experiences
22. I like watching the TV serial FRIENDS.
23. I like to sing Kishore Kumar songs, especially those sad ones

25. I use dialogues which my teachers used to use at school. Like, why are u gigling away to glory, ladies of the last bench, etc
26. I learn the spelling of the word 'Continuous' from Rama Miss, rather Mrs. Rama, when I was in class 8 when she was teaching us about colloids
27. I like to eat Kalmi kabab at HW
28. I like panner chilli at K
29. I sweat whenever I think of rocks and rock climbing. I get this amazing feeling in my hands and feet and I sweat literally. Donno why??
30. I like kids, especially cute little girls, I call them "Putti" (as in Kannada language), be it whoever, whose ever kid, I still call them putti in my mind
31. I like to collect as many credit cards as possible. I already go quite a few
32. I like to go for a walk early in the morning in Malleshwaram, especially near my house and college
33. I am punctual and used to hate people who come late. Now a days give a bit of their own medicine to late comers
34. I am rather over punctual. Amazingly everytime, for every exam, appointment, movie, café, wherever, I end up reaching the place from 15 mins to 1 hr early
35. I feel that I could have joined the Indian Army. Not joking
36. I owe a lot to my family
37. I feel that my friends are my strength. These are the people who have shaped me on the personal side. Maybe official side's credit goes to parents and teachers
38. I wanna learn Sanskrit and read all those great vedas, upanishads, bhagavad geeta and other such great epics/books
39. I like the color blue
40. I like black and white too
41. I wanna buy a digicam soon
42. I wanna buy a bicycle now, but I am yet to make up my mind for the same from the past 3 months. Also one reason for deciding to buy is that one of my friend bought a new Honda city car and another bought a new Splendor bike
43. I envy the innocence which some of my friends have an I aint
44. I used to pull the hair of 1 sweet kid in school along with a friend of mine every day during prayer
45. I hardly bunked classes in college
46. I have been the only student for many a classes in college during PU, graduation and PG. I know people hated me for that. Even now if I tell someone, they scold me for not going with the crowd
47. I like to read management and business books
48. I wanna go to tokyo and live there for atleast a 1 month and that should be a vacation
49. I am interested in corporate history
50. I have watched quite a few x rated movies
51. I get very emotional when I watch movies
52. I like songs sung by Kishore Kumar and Dr.Rajkumar
53. I like choclates but hardly them
54. I have a lot cavities and old ones which have been filled up (Don’t know the correct medical terminology for these)
55. I like to have a thick and big moustache. How abt a frinch bearch (did I spell it right)
56. I nevery throw away credit card bills
57. I nevery throw away a single ATM transaction receipt. I have all of them till date!!
58. I am trying to learn japanese language at office. Hardly putting in any effort towards the same
59. I have this strange feeling of wanting to meet one particular girl who studied in school. Somebody help me………! Though I have no other intentions other than just seeing her atleast once and speaking to her for a while
60. I like shirts which are plain or have simple & small lines on them. Not stripes
61. I don’t like to go to pubs due to the head thumping music played there
62. I like food at andhra style restaurants
63. I love the english summer. i.e. the weather in London during summer
64. I am a straight forward person, always to the point. Never belive in building up stories and then come to the point. So I cant get a job in marketing
65. I want to be the CEO of the company in the next 8 years. Really I mean it, I am not kidding
66. I do not have any specific goal in life
67. I do not like people who think their value increases by wearing branded clothes and shoes!! BTU
68. I like the tube trains in London, they are just great and convinient
69. I wanna go and visit the great lakes in the Himalayas. Those near Ladakh and tibet.

72. I like greenery. Especially in the countryside, soothes my eye
73. I have started take driving classes and on road to procuring a licence
74. I like to spend my time with friends, chatting away to glory
75. I like to play cards and especially Rhymmy, however its spelt
76. I wanted to read atleast one para per day from the Bhagavadgita since the time I was in college, but never succeded
77. I like dahi puri, masala dosa, pav bhaji and alike….mmmm
78. I have been to mysore, dharmasthala, udupi, saligrama, mangalore, horanadu, katil, murudeshwara, kollur, sringeri
79. I have been to Chennai, Delhi, Manali, Ahmednagar, Gurgaon
80. I was in the NCC and loved to continue forever, but was chucked out after the 4 yr limit
81. I have a pair of NCC shoes which I bought after I was out of the NCC. It’s a nice feeling wearing it
82. I have with me nearly all the wedding invitation cards given to me by my friends till date
83. I like arithmetic - addition and multiplication only - see how selective I am
84. I liked physics and chemistry when I was in high school
85. I liked geometry also
86. I believe that cleanliness is next to godliness
87. I like to do some housekeeping atleast once in 3 to 6 months
88. I have changed 2 employers and I am now with the third
89. I have registered my profile in 2 marriage bureaus and 1 online portal
90. I have had 4 instances of uppit - u know what I mean
91. I am unable to say Namaste as soon as I a recive a call, though I have thought of this n number of times
92. I have a pretty good understanding and memory of timelines in history as taught in school
93. I like to watch those good programmes on history channel
94. I regularly watch discovery, starworld channels
95. I love cartoon network specially tom & jerry show, the swat cats, superman, batman
96. I love the looney tunes show on cartoon network and pogo, especially bugs bunny! Whats up doc..!
97. I studied in the same school from class 2 to class 10
98. I studied in the same college from PU to final yr degree
99. Both the above institutions were located very near to my house, just a 3 min walk. What more can one ask for!
100. I had once travelled to Banashankari on my cycle! Ye, ye……
101. I had this very good cycle for nearly 17 years
102. I earlier had a smaller bicycle which was stolen
103. I am pretty much an atheist, though I do visit temples during trips with my friends
104. I like to eat with my bare hands, rather than eating with a spoon and fork
105. I want to learn to eat noodles with chopsticks
106. I like hot rice mixed with ghee, salt and some pickes - mom calls it 'tuppa uppu' - simple Kannada at work
107. I like sambar made with sprouted horsegram
108. I like the food at Maadappa mess, u get unlimited quantities of ragi balls (mudde), rice, sambar, rasam, buttermilk
109. I think I like chicken biryani, andhra style
110. I almost always follow traffic rules while driving. I agree that I have flouted the rules a few times
111. I have never copied in an exam, except once.
112. I have a friend working in the US of A
113. I got a valid US business visa!!! But still I am at offshore ;-(

117. I used fall sick very often when I was in school, especially during exam time. Don’t what my classmates used to think of me then

149. I have partied throughout the nights on quite a few occasions
150. I learnt to drive a 2 wheeler when I was in class 8 or 9
151. I have just started to learn how to drive a car
152. I like uppit when its fresh and hot in the evenings
153. I have a friend working in Japan
154. I like trivia especially business related
155. I was the college chess champion in class 12 and I beat a formidable opponent who was a state level player!
156. I love playing table tennis, infact purchased one TT raquet last year when was in a hotel in Mysore
157. I have gone on various trips and tour with many of my friends
158. I am unable to calculate my income tax though I have studied the same. Though I can calculate but not to the exact number
159. I loved mathematics in college
160. I indeed taught mathematics for a few months for class 12 and CA foundation students
161. My handwriting font is small in size since childhood
162. I once won the second prize for best handwriting in school and I received a book as a gift which I still have with me
163. I have been to Chennai to write various exams
164. I am amazed and wonder how those electronic gadgets work (like TV, radio, computers and alike)
165. I used write only with an ink pen in school and particularly a pen by name Hero - u know it don't you?
166. I had never been in an aeroplane until june 2004!

168. I used to like the Japanese cakes which was sold inside Symphony/Shankarnag theatre, way back in the late 80s
169. I really do not look good in photos. You might say that same is true without the photo! Agreed

192. I have won the first prize in a business quiz at Nitte
193. I have won the second place in a stock market at Calicut university along with my friend

195. I think I am nearly a photocopy of my father in terms of behaviour
196. I have a few friends who are qualified chartered accountants
197. I still have the geometry box which my father purchased when I was in class 8

269. I went for tution classes as early as class 3, bcoz mom thought I don’t study at home

274. My favorite topic for essays in school was 'Pollution'. I used to write pretty much the same thing test after test, exam after exam. Apart from this I had no idea of anything else.

276. I had a very good friend by name S when I was in my first job. Sad I left the company too soon. I used tease this person S a lot
277. I think I enjoyed my first job and there were many occassions of happiness and sadness
278. I really hated the job at my second company rather employer. It was boring, no one to teach me the process. Was feeling like fish out of water
279. I moved to to my third and current employer only because I wanted to get out from my second employer.
280. I have had a pretty good time and growth here with my third employer.
281. I like listening to Vivdhbharati late in the night. But I never do it.
282. I prefer yahoo mail over others
283. I hate Lotus notes. MS Outlook is far far far better than Lotus notes
284. I am really a simple guy

286. I usually do not shake hands with people. Especially with one of my friend I have never shook hands with me.
287. I used to love those sandwiches which was sold at Raman's corner. Even those noodles used to be yummy!
288. I usually do not throw away things. Like, I still have my UG and PG college's ID card. I still have the bus pass which I used during PG
289. I wonder at all those varities of footwear which females wear. OMG! What a big variety they got to choose from.

1001 things.....

I committed to write a list of 1001 things abt myself and now find that its really a mamoth task. As of now its still at a meagre 175, long way to go.

Me is currently embarking on this mamoth journey to list down 1001 things about myself!! Yes, its me!! myself and I (borrowed this from some pop band)
However, as this task would take really some amount of time, it would be posted only by sometime next week. All this would depend on my mindframe (whether me happy or sad) and the amount of work in office. Hoping that work would be minimal.
