Aur Aahista Kijiye Baatein.............

Just remembered this wonderful song....

Song: Aur Aahista Kijiye Baatein
Movie: Woh Chandni Raatein
Singer(s): Pankaj Udhas

Aur Aahista Kijiye Baatein Lyrics from Woh Chandni Raatein

Aur aahista kijiye baatein, dhadkanein koyi sun raha hoga

Aur aahista kijiye baatein, dhadkanein koyi sun raha hoga
Kaan rakhate hai yeh daro deewaar, raaj ki saari baat sun lenge
 Aur aahista kijiye baatein

Aur aahista kijiye baatein, dhadkanein koyi sun raha hoga
Kaan rakhate hai yeh daro deewaar, raaj ki saari baat sun lenge
 Aur aahista kijiye baatein

Aur aahista kijiye baatein, dhadkanein koyi sun raha hoga
Kaan rakhate hai yeh daro deewaar, raaj ki saari baat sun lenge
 Aur aahista kijiye baatein

Aise ek dusare mein gum ho jaayein
Faasala koyi darmiya na reh jaaye, na reh jaaye
Aur aahista kijiye baatein, dhadkanein koyi sun raha hoga
Kaan rakhate hai yeh daro deewaar, raaj ki saari baat sun lenge
 Aur aahista kijiye baatein
Mm mm mm mm mm..... o o o... aa aa aa...

Learning in the last year and a half

The last 19 months have been a kinda of a roll-a-coaster ride! Mostly troughs and a few peaks.

What have I learnt:

1. How to wear a tie - precisely how to tie a tie knot

2. What it means to put on weight!! ;-) What it means to be of normal weight when compared to being underweight!

3. How it is to deal with difficult bosses. Though have not fully figured out the solution, but am much better than before

4. How not make a suckers choice! Help from HR came handy Read this wonderful book, which made me realize the suckers choice which I keep often making Crucial Conversations

5. How does it feel to fall from a position of power or from a successful career to a not so good one :-(

6. How not to fight with friends for the wrong reason

7. How much little of MS Excel I knew and how much more there is to learn

8. Work at times as an individual contributor

9. How to travel 4 hrs each day to work by public transport and what it means!

Ferrari Ki Sawaari

Ferrari Ki Sawaari Watched this movie last weekend and I was like WOW!! what a movie. This movie is real good, especially if you are a parent, you'd like a bit too much. The entire movie is good, with no boring episodes or unwanted characters. Every single character in the movie is there with a purpose and has been cast well. The first half belongs to Sharmaan Joshi and the next half is carried through by Boman Irani. Boman has done an excellent job, his mannerisms, his body language, his dialogue delivery, EXCELLENT is the word. I would say, A MUST WATCH for all Indians.

Culinary Skills

Off late my cooking skills seem to have come to light or rather seen the light of the day! For a long time had an inclination towards cooking and the previous week have learnt to - prepare a vegetable burger - cook vegetable pulav I should say, the inspiration for this was from the book You Don't Need A Godfather: Create your Own Success by Elango R. In this book read this concept of shared reading and i applied this to shared cooking and of course the wifey was very very happy I Say!
